Fela Anikulapo Kuti was a revolutionary artist and incredibly talented musician who could play many instruments.

As a great maestro, he is amongst those greats who contributed beautiful African music to the world. His influence and legacy are extremely powerful and still very relevant today.

He is the “Father of Afrobeat music” with Tony Allen, an amazing music genre which blended many different influences into this refreshing sensation from West Africa in the late 60s.

Overtime his music became more political and revolutionary. Fela was fighting for our greatness in his lane and also outside his performance stage.

His ‘Kalakuta Republic’ was a social initiative to build qualitative life standards for everyone.
